Our
Story
At Murwillumbah Flight Training (MFT), we are proud to be founded by a collective of highly professional, experienced flight instructors and industry veterans who share a deep connection to our local skies.
What began as a dedicated solution to meet the internal training, development, and instructing needs of the Murwillumbah Aero Club quickly evolved into a premier regional resource, fuelled by a shared vision to provide world-class aviation education right here in the Northern Rivers region.
Our team brings an unparalleled depth of expertise to the cockpit, comprising seasoned airline pilots, industry veterans with tens of thousands of flight hours, aeromedical specialists, and CASA examiners.
As locals who are deeply embedded in the community, we don’t just train in this airspace—we live it, boasting thousands of successful landings at Murwillumbah alone, ensuring that our students benefit from a training environment grounded in both global industry standards and intimate local knowledge.
