Where are you located?

MFT is co-located with the Murwillumbah Aero Club, at Murwillumbah Airfield in Northern NSW.

Is MFT a part of the Aero Club?

We are a seperate entity to the Murwillumbah Aero Club (MAC), with seperate management and structure. However, we work very closely with, and support MAC with our services, bookings and partnership agreements.

Is there parking available?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking spaces available at the aerodrome. It can get busy when the Aero Club has competitions on. However, you will not have to walk more than 5 minutes at the worst of times.

Do you offer Birthday or Gift flight experiences?

We sure do! Whether it's a special occasion, or you just have an itching to go on a flight over the Byron Bay Lighthouse, we can accomdate any reasonable request.

What happens if the weather is not suitable for flying?

Safety comes first. If the weather is not suitable, we will reschedule your flight for the next available time that works for you.

How do I book a lesson?

Contact us and we will arrange a time that suits you. We keep things flexible and will work with you to match aircraft and instructor availability.

Yes, we are a CASA registered and approved Part 141 Flight Training Organisation. Our AOC is CASA.141 FTO.0492
