Private Pilot Licence training builds upon the skills developed during your RPL and introduces the knowledge and practical experience required to safely conduct longer and more complex flights.
PHASE 1
The first stage of PPL training introduces the essential skills required for visual navigation and flight planning.
During this phase, you'll learn:

As your experience grows, you'll undertake a variety of navigation exercises to destinations throughout the Northern Rivers, regional New South Wales, and South East Queensland.
Flying to different aerodromes exposes you to a wide range of operating environments, helping you develop the adaptability and confidence expected of a Private Pilot.

PHASE 3
The final stage of training focuses on consolidating all aspects of your flying and preparing you for the Private Pilot Licence flight test.

Once you've achieved the required standard, you'll undertake the PPL(A) Flight Test with a qualified flight examiner. The assessment includes both an oral examination and a practical flight component designed to demonstrate your knowledge, judgement, and flying skills.
