Nestled under the backdrop of Mount Warning (Wollumbin) and surrounded by the lush hinterland of Northern New South Wales, the Murwillumbah Aero Club is a community of pilots, aviation students, aircraft owners, and flight enthusiasts.
Whether you’re an experienced aviator clocking cross-country hours, a student working toward your first solo, or simply someone who loves aviation, our club is your home base in the Tweed.
The MAC Story & Mission
Founded on a shared love for grassroots flying, the Murwillumbah Aero Club (MAC) is dedicated to keeping general aviation accessible, safe, and vibrant. We pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere where aviation knowledge is freely shared, safety is prioritised, and lasting friendships are forged both on the ground and in the air.
From early-morning runway coffees to regular fly-outs across Northern NSW and Southeast Queensland, our club brings together people who share a common passion for the sky.
